Tampa beauty academy holds open house on third anniversary

TAMPA, Fla. – The Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy (DMBA), Tampa’s only nationally-accredited esthetic and makeup artistry school, is scheduled to host an open house at their 10359 Cross Creek Blvd. campus in North Tampa on Oct. 1 from 1-5 p.m.
The open house, which falls on the beauty school’s third anniversary since opening, will look to attract interested patrons and potential students looking to get acquainted with the staff, programs, and recently-beautified facility.
For potential students, DMBA will be waiving their administration fee for anyone who enrolls during the open house, as well as provide them with a DMBA t-shirt and class scrubs at the event.
“We’re so excited to welcome members of the community to our campus, and hopefully for some, into the Dolly Monroe family,” said Dolly Monroe, founder of Dolly Monroe Beauty Academy. “With this being our most successful year to date, we want to share that success by waiving our admin fee for anyone who wishes to enroll in DMBA. We want to give people the opportunity to come as a guest, but leave as an enrolled, uniformed student in our program.”
Attendees can expect live viewings of facial and makeup appointments, a raffle for DMBA cosmetic products, and “swag bags” containing product samples, makeup bags, sunglasses and more.
Additionally, guests of the open house will receive a tour of the makeup, wax, facial, lash and core learning classrooms, as well as a presentation from DMBA educators detailing the school’s esthetics program.
The event will also include a celebration of DMBA’s third anniversary since its establishment, which is scheduled to take place toward the end of the open house.
According to DMBA, the academy plans to host open houses at their campus each quarter moving forward.
